In the summer of 2006, two members of Riverbank Aviary traveled to Peru, on an eco-tourism trip to the Tambopata Research Center . While there, they spent the first week touring the highlands of Peru, the home of the Incas. They visited the city of Cusco, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley.
